Although most people think of solid-panel fences like Colorbond or Hardifence when they think of city fences, there’s no real reason for city-dwellers to obstruct their view. Many homeowners in the Bunbury and Perth regions are opting for a rural fencing solution, such as a round post and rail fence, to not only stand out as a unique feature among the other houses in Western Australia, but also to open up the house and property, giving a sense of space.
This post and rail fence was built with pine to surround this beautiful property, giving the property lines a visual dimension, without detracting from the landscape.
Two 3m-long rails are secured between two posts with an overall height of 800cm in the front of the per, which is within council regulations.
In the back of the property, the fence uses 3 rails between posts and has an overall height of 1200mm, which is more inconvenient for climbing, but makes rural fencing Perth-appropriate by following regulations.
