Let’s delve into the details of the galvanized steel panels used in the fencing:
- Galvanized Steel: These panels are crafted from galvanized steel, which involves coating the steel with a layer of zinc. This zinc coating acts as a protective barrier against moisture and environmental elements that can cause corrosion.
- Epoxy Base Coat: To enhance corrosion resistance, an epoxy base coat is applied to the galvanized steel before the final powder coating. This additional layer further shields the panels from wear and tear.

Straight Pik Fencing
- To create a straight fence line, Team Work Fencing will join several straight plinths together.
- Plinths need to be either bolted onto concrete/timber or buried into grout.
- If the land is not level or if deeper embedment of pickets is required, we can consider using individual PIK®’s but this does increase costs.
Straight & Curved Pik Fencing
For a combination of straight and curved sections:
- Team Work Fencing will join straight plinths together as before.
- Where a 90° curve is needed, the curved plinth (pre-welded and ready to install) will be used to create a corner.
- If a different curve angle is desired, the ‘kit in a box’ allows the installers to set the desired angle/radius using individual PIK®’s, but does increase the cost.
Organic Curved Pik Fencing
When an organic curve (non-linear) is required:
- Team Work Fencing will opt to use the pre-assembled PIK®’s as desired.
- Specially designed removable clips are provided for the top and bottom of pickets to maintain consistent spacing through curves during installation.
